Radio talk show host Dr. Laura Schlessinger is in trouble again. Dr. Laura Schlessinger has apologized for using the n-word during an on-air conversation with a woman earlier this week, who called into the show to complain about her husband’s friends making racist comments.
Dr. Laura responded by saying the n-word several times and telling the woman, “black guys say it all the time.” After the woman objected, Dr. Laura replied, “I guess you don’t watch HBO or listen to any black comedians” and accused the woman of being “hypersensitive” to racism.
Later Dr. Laura ended the show a bit early, and she explained to listeners on Wednesday that she’d been so upset over her behavior that she couldn’t continue.
