Radio-Canada launches Explora
Science, environment, nature and health will be central to the programming of the new specialized Explora, launched by the CBC.
The channel will air on March 28 to 18 h. The Vice-President of CBC, Louis Lalande, compared the new channel to the other offers the Crown corporation, stating that “to be Explora science, environment, nature and health that RDI is information and what is ARTV to culture. ”
Programming, which was unveiled Thursday, includes documentaries for a family audience (The bear family and I, dogs and men), the large-scale mini-series documentary (The Story of Science, The Empire of the system solar) and documentaries from here and elsewhere.
